👋🏻 Hi there! I'm Yifei (Kaylee) Gao, a multi-disciplinary UX designer with a background in computer science and communication. I'm currently based in Shanghai and specializing in ToB design at ELEME, Alibaba Group -- one of the largest food delivery platform in China.
🌱 After graduating from University of Toronto, my passion for UX design had led me to complete a master's degree in Digital Experience Innovation program at University of Waterloo. During my studies, I have interned in three distinct fields: marketing, development, and UX design. These experiences correspond to the different majors I pursued in undergraduate and graduate studies. It is because of these experiences, that I was able to find my passion for UX and interaction design.
🌟 As a designer with frontend development skills, I independently designed and developed this portfolio website. I value accessability, the site is responsive and incorporates a smooth user experience across all types of devices.
With a multi-disciplinary background, I combine my strength in programming and design to create user-centered products and act as a bridge between designers and developers.
